The k ψ—surfactant profile is not significantly structured due to the low aggregation number of triton X-100 micelle. Inhibition is proposed to be due to favorable hydrophobic interaction with accompanying stabilization of the Fe (II) complex with respect to dissolution.
Professor Oladega Soriyan, 1995
Prof. Oladega O. Soriyan is a Professor of Physical Chemistry. He obtained the B.Sc. Chemistry(Hons) in 1981, Master’s degree in 1985 from the then University of Ife. Ile-Ife and a Ph.D degree of the Obafemi Awolowo University in 1992. He did his postdoctorate in the Department of Chemistry, MountAllison, Sackville, Canada under Prof.Vincent Reinsborough.
His research interest is in Surfactants, Micelles, solubilization of substrate. Electrostatic and hydrophobic interaction in micellar system. Kinetics and mechanism of micellar catalysis. He is also interested in Kineticsand mechanism within inorganic and organo-metallic chemistry, homogenous catalysis and redox reactions.
He is a memeber of the Chemical Society of Nigeria, Science Forum of the commonwealth of the Bahamas, and New York Academy of Science. In Obafemi Awlowo Universty, He had served in various capacities such as Head of Chemistry Department and Director of Central Science Laboratory in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
He was a Provost of College of Education, Osun State University. He was a member, Ogun State Government Fact Finding Panel on Moshood Abiola Polythenic, Abeokuta, Ogun State and member, Management Committee of Osun State University, Oshogbo.
